Christmas Post Eve

We went down to San Diego for our annual Christmas (Post) Eve celebration with the Dombeks and Kowalewskys. Before we could go, we had to get bundled up and take Chewy for a little walk...

Santa!

Santa came last night! We all looked in our stockings, and Mom got chocolate and wine, Dad got Guiness and Twizzlers...

Chewy got a bone...

I was VERY excited to look in my stocking...

And I got a new rattle!

And I also got Christmas kisses from Chewy! Merry Christmas, everyone!

A Big Day

I had a big play day today! First, Daddy decided I was big enough and put me in my ExerSaucer. After all, the pediatrician told me on Friday at my 4 month old check-up that I am now 16 lbs, 7 oz and 25 1/2 inches tall (I'm an overacheiver). I loved the ExerSaucer, and had been wondering what it was, sitting in the corner of my room for so long...

Then I showed off my strong legs...

And enjoyed watching the dog attack Mommy
(it sometimes makes me laugh, but Mom and Dad haven't caught that on video yet).

As you can imagine, this is how I looked at the end of the day.

Playtime

Here's me doing my new favorite activity: batting at things hanging above my head. Mom strung a few of them up in my crib so I can play.


I like it best when she wiggles them by pulling at the string. Then I even try to kick at them. Mom also found out I make this face when she blows on me:

Holiday Parties

Mom and Dad went to a holiday party on Friday night while I stayed home and slept. We went over to the neighbor's for a party the next day. They stuck me in this Xmas box...

I told them since I was wearing a silly hat, they had to, too...

Mom said the hat makes Dad look like a Christmas Pimp. I don't know what I'm going to do with these parents of mine...

Happy!

Mom and Dad get to go out to play tonight, and Chewy and I get to see Nana. This makes everyone happy.

Mom tried taking some holiday photos of me today. She says this is a Santa hat, but I think I look more like the pope, and that makes me laugh. I'm told popes wear silly hats.

A Visit from my Cousins

My cousins Ron and Lyn came to visit me today. Actually, they're Grandma's first cousins, so I'm not sure what that makes them to me, but they're very nice and I can't wait to meet their two twin grandkids, who are only a month older than me. Yay, more playmates!

Wishbone

Dad decided to challenge me with the wishbone from last night's turkey...

But I'm a big girl, and even though he tried hard, he couldn't win.

Mom tried too...

But they're no match for me! My wish was for mom to let me put this wishbone in my mouth, but it didn't come true. There's always next year!

Turkey Day

My Nana and uncle Stuart came up for Thanksgiving. I babbled at them a lot and we had fun, but then I got very tired from the turkey (or just the smell of it) and fell asleep for the night at 4:30, in true Thanksgiving fashion.

The puppies were tired too...
