I'm Helpful!

I am a very helpful baby, and actually enjoy helping mom fold the laundry, especially when she buries me in it.

Who Needs Hands?

I've found that though my hands are good to suck on, my feet do the job just as well. Many times when mom comes in after one of my naps, the tips of my socks are wet from me sucking on them. It's also more fun to bat at my toys with my feet. Hands are overrated.

Katherine and Friends

My social calendar has been full lately! Mom says Grandma once told her she was "pathologically social". I have no idea what the means, but I'm sure it won't happen to me. Here are some pictures of me hanging out with all my friends...

Yummy and Not So Yummy

I had peas for the first time today. They were not great. My Daddy hates them too, so I guess I'm allowed to make faces like I do in the video below...


I also found out that I could eat feet today. They are delicious!

Watching History

Mom was so excited that I got to see this historic and inspiring moment (see the TV in the background?). I was excited about it too!

A Fun Weekend

This week I went in the pool for the first time! I liked it (or tolerated it, it's a bit hard to say)...

Feet - My New Favorite Toy

Tummy Time

Mom is trying to help me crawl and roll over, so she put this soft ball under me to try to get me to push up with my arms more. I keep trying to tell her I'm a big girl, and moving all my big girl-ness around like that sounds like a lot of work, but she doesn't seem to listen.

Sitting Up

I got this inner tube so I could practice sitting up alone without falling over and hurting myself. Mostly, I just want to chew on the plastic, but it does make me feel like a big girl.

Pint and Half Pint

No offense to anyone else who got him a present, but Daddy says this t-shirt set I gave him was his very favorite present.

A Day at the Beach

Yes, it's January, and today we went to Dog Beach in Huntington so Chewy and I could have a little fun (see him lurking in the background in the first picture?). I hear that I'm spoiled going to the beach in January, but I like it that way.

Katherine Got Game

We had a dance party today, which I get VERY excited about, as you can see here:

Lamby from Grammy

Katherine loves her lamb toy ("Lamby") that her Grandma gave her. She snuggles with it every night and for every nap, and often falls asleep sucking on one of it's legs, so it ends up on her chest while she sleeps, looking like it has her pinned. She's a very silly baby.

New Adventures in Eating

I started solid foods on Christmas Day. Yum, rice cereal (aka mush). I smiled when I first ate it, and Dad says I'll be having a side of beef with it in no time!
