Becker County Fair

Today we went to the Becker County Fair. There were lots of stinky animals for me to pat. Fun! Here I am patting the bunny's butt...

Fun at the Lakes

This morning I read Chewy a story. At first he seemed very interested...

Then he started licking my feet...

And pulling on my dolly's hair.

Dad tried to discipline him, but I'm not sure it worked.

Today I learned to stick out my tongue to mimic Mom. I'm told this will be a handy skill all through my life. So there!

I am working on my new talent: speed eating. I'm not sure if the competitive eaters hum and make yummy noises while they're eating, though. I may have to rethink some of my strategies...

Big Day!

I had a big day today! I started with a good breakfast, meaning I did a good job at getting it all over me...

Then I went to my Little Gym class, came home and had a play date with my friend, Kara. She's so fun and smiley!

We had lots of wiggle time, then went for a swim in the pool, and came home and had a bath.

Much splashing and soaping was involved, and I started to get the stares because I was all tuckered out!

Zoology 101

I love the animal flash cards Mom and Dad got me. Listen, I can say "Du-ah" for "duck", and know what noise the horse makes:

Mom says all these cute little tricks are starting to backfire on her. Remember my "wear it like a hat" trick (see my July 2nd post)? Now I do that while I'm eating with my food. I had mac and cheese, and avocado behind my ears today. Mom says that's not the intended use of that skill, but I thought I was supposed to do it to be funny, and it definitely makes me laugh!

Silliness, Pumpkin Style

Mom was taking pictures of me in my cute green dress today while I was playing in my room...

I looked so cute that I gave myself a kiss...

And then things started to get silly.

I kept giggling and pulling up my dress when Mom would ask where my belly button was...

And it just was easier to take it off.

We then played my favorite game, "Close the Door and Hide, Then Open It and Laugh Maniacally" for much longer than Mom wanted to. Yay!

Katherine Got Game

I've been watching a show called "Yo Gabba Gabba" that I like to dance to, as you can see below. I also show off my new waving skills. I'm a dancing machine!

Miles & Me

Miles and his parents came over to play with us yesterday. First, Miles had some bonding time with Dad...

Then it was time for naked time!

I showed off some of my toys (mostly by grabbing them out of his hands), and showed him how to turn the pages in my books.

He is a smart guy, and liked Dad's shoehorn almost as much as I do. Here's a picture of him with the shoehorn, and me walking my horse on a leash:

I also made everyone laugh by grabbing Chewy's tongue while he was panting and laughing at it.

Another fun day of being a very silly baby!

Little Gym

10 Months Old

Nana's Birthday

Nana came up to visit for her birthday last weekend. Here's me helping her open her card...

She tried to teach me to drink from a cup, but I'm definitely still better at my sippy cup.
