BBQ

I went to a BBQ at my friend, Kara's, house yesterday. She showed me all her fun toys. She's a crack-up...

Then she leaned over to give me kisses while we played with CJ. I feel loved.

The three of us did a little digging in the sand box...

And then moved on to the slides. Here is the aftermath of CJ and I sliding down simultaneously. That's me at the end of the littler slide.

I think this is CJ's way of flirting with me, patting my hair. He's kind of a player though, I saw him doing it to Kara, too.

A fun day with friends for Mom, Dad and me!

Super Saturday

We had a very fun and busy day today. We put in some quality time at the duck park...

I love this park even more because it has a drinking fountain. Another chance for mess-making!

Then we went down to the pier to explore. By this point I only wanted to run around and was in full squirm mode, so Mom gave up taking family portraits after this one.

After that we stopped for dinner so Daddy could drink off the visions of me squirming my way off the pier.

I entertained Mom and Dad during dinner with my new routine of "I know what animal goes ____, a ____". When the video starts, I had just said "I know what animal goes vroom vroom, a car!" and Mom and Dad were giggling about that.

A long, fun day was followed by some much needed snuggle time on the couch.

Flying Baa

I love to have Daddy throw Baa, my lamby, for me. I don't let Mom do it, only Dad. Here's a little glimpse of our morning fetch routine:

I'm mesmerized by commercials, so Mom had to turn of the TV to get me to focus again. Here I am after I regrouped:

New Acrobatic Moves

My new talents are looking at you upside down through my legs, and running around the house with my shirt in my teeth squealing. My parents are very proud.

Tea Party

On Sunday I went to a little girls' tea party put on by our old neighbor, Jen. Mom told me I was supposed to have good manners there. I interpreted this as taking as big of bites as possible...
Not sitting with my legs crossed...
And putting things in my mouth that I wasn't supposed to.
I did find a partner in crime, Brooklyn, who followed my lead to help me throw all these wrapped gumballs on the ground.
I had fun, but truth be told, digging out back in the sand box is really much more my scene. I am my mother's daughter.

Computer Literate

Lately I really like playing on the computer. I'm learning to type...

And have fun looking at animals that Mommy and Daddy pull up for me on the Internet. It's a long one, so Mom had to break it into four parts.
