Rainforest Cafe

Yesterday we went to the Rainforest Cafe. I was transfixed! It may not look like I'm having a ton of fun in these pictures, but that's because a lot of the time I was staring open-mouthed at all the animatronic animals moving and making noises. You can sort of see the elephant tusks behind me in the background. So cool!

I also convinced the balloon animal artist to make me a frog. I loved it a little too much, though, because it unravelled in the car.

We also got to go on the Merry-Go-Round. I liked it, and would shake the reins saying, "Go, horsey, go!".

But more than anything I was interested in how my horse went up and down, since his legs weren't moving. Most of the time I watched the machinery above my head. I wonder if I can rig something like that up at home for Chewy? Hmmm....

The Latest in the Life of a Crazy Monkey Baby

I am not just a parrot, repeating everything, but I also do what Mom calls "monkey see, monkey do". I saw Dad work my gumball machine with his foot, so I had to master the skill, too.

In case you forgot what my cackle sounds like, here I am helping to throw Chewy's food for him in the morning, and laughing at him when he was choking on it after barking at a hummingbird. Don't worry, he's fine.

Daddy's Reunion

This weekend Daddy took Mommy and me to family day at his 20 year high school reunion. Here I am playing with balloons in his school colors...

And obsessing over my yummy popscicle.

I continued to only be interested in my popscicle (and in sitting like a lady) for the group picture of all the kids.

Fun With Kara

My friend Kara came up to play with me this week. We had a water-filled day, starting in my pool...

Then running through the sprinkler...

And ending up in the tub for a bubble bath.

She's kind of a baby fish like me. Fun!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Today is Daddy's birthday. I had fun helping him celebrate.

Here I am helping Dad unwrap his presents. Chewy wanted in on the fun, too. You can tell how much this was cracking me up by face in the picture below on the right...

OC Fair 2010

We went to the OC Fair with our friends Isabella and Helen last week. Here are the pictures we tried to take in a photo booth when we got there. They didn't work out too well...

Helen took me on my first carnival ride, a Dumbo knock-off, and told Mom that I hummed excitedly the whole time.

They had a HUGE sandbox that I got to dig in and help the older kids build sandcastles.

And of course, there was fair food. Mom somehow resisted buying the chocolate covered bacon and deep fried butter (!), but this ice cream cone was no match for me...

And Mom was so proud of me for eating and liking my very first corn dog.

But my favorite thing there was the petting zoo, as you can see from my expression below:

I loved the little lamb and the goats...

And the baby deer, and I even got to help feed it with a bottle!

They also had a huge horse named "Hercules" there who was 19 hands tall and weighed over a ton. I couldn't pet him, but I did point out to everyone that he also had huge poops. I'm very observant.

But the coolest animal I got to pat there was a baby kangaroo! How many other not even two year olds can say they've done that!
