Early Halloween

Mom's been trying to get me used to my Halloween costume all week. Most days I haven't been so into it, but today I wore it for about 20 minutes, just to throw her off.

Though it was initially fun just looking at myself in the mirror and saying "Duck", I also found time to read...

Wrestle with Chewy over my pumpkin...

And ride my turtle (though, as you can see, I'd had enough of the duck hat by this point).

First Kiss

Today we took a road trip down to San Diego to visit Miles and Auntie Kristine. I like being silly in the car (don't worry, we were stopped when Mom took this).

First Auntie Kristine read us a story...

Then I tried on Miles' Halloween costume, and practiced my growl (and tried to pull it off a bit).

Then it was on to more pressing matters, like trying to kiss Miles...

Here I am puckering up and going in for the smooch...

Awwww...young love....

Don't worry, it's not going to get weird. We're still friends.

More Pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch

They also had fun animals at the pumpkin patch. Here I am watching the ponies and making my horse noise at them:

They also had chickens, bunnies, a baby pig, goats, sheep and ducks. I liked petting the sheep best, and chasing the ducks. And, of course, making all my animal noises at them.

Pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend.

I was pretty excited about getting to pick out my own pumpkin...

But not so thrilled about posing for all Mom's photo opps.

I got to rummage around in a big pile of pumpkins until I found the perfect one...

I kind of liked the green one; I'm a baby who likes to do things my own way. Decisions...

We decided on this little orange one...

And when we got it home, Mom decorated it to have just as many teeth as me.

That Chewy and his silly puppy tricks crack me up!

Today Nana came to play with me while Mom packed stuff up in our house. Reading books with Nana was much more fun than watching Mom put stuff in boxes. Thanks, Nana!

Naming the Animals

I love my ark of animals, and can identify all of them by name, but I'm not always cooperative about it when the camera is on. Here's one of Mom's recent attempts to catch me on camera. She had to break it into 3 videos, but I find almost all of them on here! I'll get those cheetahs and elephants next time!

Chewy and I Playing House

I love playing in my house with Chewy. I get so excited! Mom had to break this into two parts, but you can see how I am brimming over with anticipation that the fuzzy puppy nose will come through the door of my playhouse at any moment. You can also hear me call Chewy's name (I always say it "Ooo-Cha" with an upward inflection on the second syllable).

Even though I have a bit of a cold, I have learned to crawl onto the coffee table on my own.

This is my chickenhead hat. Mom and Dad got it for me at Oktoberfest. I like to say "Buh buh" (aka Bawk Bawk) like a chicken when I wear it.

Morning PJ Fun

I am climbing EVERYWHERE, and Mom helped me get up on the couch so I could sit up there like a big girl and show her my flash cards.

I also LOVE playing in my house, and like when Daddy's arm from the sky comes in and tickles me.

The Big Bad Wolf

There's a wolf outside my playhouse! See the crazy glowing eyes peering at me through the window?

I'm scared, but super excited too! See the confused smile on my face?

Uh oh, I see furry wolf paws...

And now a nose...

I'll just push that nose away to try to keep it out.

Santa Ana Zoofari

My baby friends and I went on a safari yesterday to the Santa Ana zoo. Here we are in our exploration vehicles:

We also took the train to continue our adventure.

And then rode the carousel. I got to ride the otter! I was so excited to say "otter" over and over, and make the horse noise at the zebra Jillian was riding next to me.

Then our moms tried for some photo ops in this big hatched egg. It didn't go so well...

I'm hatched and I want to go home!
