Thanksgiving - Part 2

We had a nice Thanksgiving in our new house. Here are Nana, Chewy and I breaking in the couch...
And here's a group shot of us and our dinner...

I have decided that I am a fan of turkey and all the fixixngs...
After dinner Mom and Dad busted out their colonial garb. They looked goonie...
Dad tried to make me wear the bonnet too, but I saw what Mom looked like in it and I said NO WAY!
His hat looked a lot cooler...

Poor Chewy got stuck with the bonnet.

Happy Turkey Day, everyone!

Turkey Day at the Park

On Thanksgiving I went to the park with Mom, Dad, Nana, Uncle Stuart and Chewy. Look how big I am; I can slide all by myself!

I had a lot of fun with Uncle Stuart. He played in the sandbox with me...

And then I gave him kisses.

We have fun being silly together. Yay, Uncle Stuart!

Baby Free-For-All

We had a great time at our baby and parents' play date at CJ's house last weekend. My friends CJ, Kara, Miles, Lucas and Jacob were there. We took over the backyard; here Kara and I are mountain climbing on the deck (and on her mommy)...
Our parents kept trying to get a group picture of us, but someone was always escaping or crying. Here's a typical shot: CJ is doing great, a fight is breaking out between Miles and Kara, and I am climbing out of the frame.

This one almost worked, but Miles turned away at the last second.
To add an extra challenge, we tried to get Danielle's two boys, Lucas and Jacob, in there too. This is the best we could come up with. Of course, no one is actually looking at the camera, but by that point our parents decided to take what they could get.
L to R: Kara, CJ, me, Miles, the back of Lucas' head, Jacob

15 Months Old

Yesterday I went to the doctor for my 15 month old check up. The doctor said I am doing very well, and even laughed at a few of my animal noises. I am now 24 lbs, 13 oz and 31 1/2 inches tall, in the 80th percentile for both height and weight. But my head grew, and it's now in the 7oth percentile. I've got it where it counts!

Prunes!!!!!!

I know I'm not a baby anymore, but I still love baby food prune mush!

The Three Amigos

Today I went to the playground with my buddies Isabella and Bella.

First Isabella and I ran around and practiced our spinning...
Then I took a time out from playing because I was transfixed by the sand...

Then I practiced my daredevil skills on the slide. I'm a big girl and like to go by myself now!
Add a little more time on the swing, and I'm a happy Pumpkin!

I've Got Mail!

Today I got a postcard from Grandma in the mail...
She made sure to write it in things I could understand.
Here I am making all the animal noises for the pictures (except the pig). Fun!
Thanks, Grandma! I love you!

Round and Round

I've learned to spin! And subsequently, how to fall down even more often.

A Good Ole Time in Alabama

This weekend I went to Alabama with Mom to visit my second cousins. We had lots of fun! Here I am at one of the parks we went to...
Check out my new climbing skills...
And tree kissing skills...
Here's my cousin Lucile and me:

I had fun with Lucile and Cyrus...
They crack me up!
Thanks for letting us come and stay and play with you, Auntie Kerri! I love you!

Fun with Nana

Nana came up to watch me last week while Mom packed up our house. We had fun!

Thanks for the tickles and kisses, Nana! I love you!

Halloween with Friends

Here's a picture of Mom and me with all our baby, mommy and daddy buddies. We had playtime yesterday...

And had to show off our Halloween costumes one more time. That's Isabella the bee, Jillian the cheerleader, Evan the lion, Bella the leopard, and me, the duck.

It's hard to get 5 babies to look in the same spot at the same time!

New Park

We went to the park near our NEW house this weekend. It has lots of fun stuff to crawl through...

Dad liked it too.
Dad also liked making faces at me and tickling me through the openings in this tunnel.
You can see him peeking through in the background here. Silly Daddy and silly baby!

Extra! Extra! Quack All About It!

Here's a picture of me that made the local paper. Already making headlines, and only a year old!

Here's the link to the paper, if you want to check it out:

Halloween 2009

Mom, Dad and I had a great time dressing up for Halloween this year. Here we are: the duck, the hunters, and the hound dog:
Here's one of me in character; "What have you done to my fellow ducklings?!?"

We went down to Main Street in Huntington Beach. First we walked around on the pier, but I wasn't quite sure about wearing my duck hat. Dad did his best to convince me...

I did love blowing my duck call, though...

After a little coaxing, I was ready to strut my ducky stuff!

People were cracking up as I walked by blowing my duck call, and lots of people asked to take pictures of me. Here's some footage of my duck walk:
I even made some new animal friends!
Here's one of me and a fellow feathered friend.
It was a big day, so afterwards I had a little quality snuggle time with Chewy.
Happy Halloween, Everyone!
