Topless Pool Party

I went over to my friend Evan's house today. Since he didn't wear a swimsuit, Isabella and I didn't want to either. We had fun splashing around. Mom called it a "topless pool party", and then I repeated that phrase a few times because everyone laughed. Mom then said she needs to start watching her mouth. I think it sounds hard to watch your own mouth, but maybe it's a trick I'll learn when I'm older.

Hanging with the Haskins

We went to stay with Mom's friends, Christa and Scott, and their two kids, Jasper and Brode. We went for a ride in their speed boat...

And I had more water fun with Jasper in our tub time. We liked having the same punk hairdo...

I wish they lived closer, she's so fun!
We had many more fun adventures with them, but all three of us kids were too much on the move for any other pictures to be taken. Thanks, Haskins, we love you!

The Lake, Part 2

We all had such a fun time at Grandma and Grandpa's lake...

Whether we were just hanging out, playing some ball...

Or exploring Detroit Lakes. I loved this disco fish, and wouldn't stop kissing him.

I even got to go for my first boat ride ever to celebrate Grandpa's birthday, complete with cupcakes!
I was very interested in the waves, and didn't really like to sit down since I was sort of a stuffed sausage in my life jacket.

Grandpa even let me drive the boat (don't worry, that's not my beer)...

I am no longer a landlubber!
Thanks for all the fun, Grandma and Grandpa! I love you and miss you again!

I Love the Lake!

I'm in Minnesota visiting Grandma and Grandpa and Foster the dog. I like when Grandma reads to me...

And Daddy took me to a cool park to teach me how to dig...

But I like digging best in the sand at the lake with my bucket and shovel.

Daddy squirting me with water in the pool wasn't so bad either.

My first time in the lake Mom made me wear this lifejacket.

Then she realized I was fearless, and would walk out in the lake chest deep, and chase floating snail shells where ever they floated.

I'm a baby fish!

Mommy's so proud.

Sticker Head

They always give me a sticker or two at the grocery store. Mom caught me giggling maniacally in the backseat in this pose on the way home.

As Mom and Dad always say, I am a very silly baby.

Face Painting

Rather than eating my prunes this morning, I decided to paint my face with them.
Needless to say, a bath shortly followed.

My Cousin Kyle

Today my cousin, Kyle, came over to visit. I showed him who's boss by not letting him sit in my chair...

But I did teach him how to play with my toys, and even did some pretty good sharing.

After all, I think we might share the cuteness gene.

4th of July

Mom, Dad and I went to the Huntington Beach 4th of July parade. Dad even decorated my stroller.

I had some lunch on the run...

Then got the best seat in the house.

After that wore Dad out, Mom and I watched the parade from the curb. I liked the fire trucks and the marching bands best.

And I LOVED this balloon, until it accidently flew away and I had a bit of a meltdown.

Pool Party

As you may have noticed, I can't seem to stay out of the pool. We had a weekend pool party over at my friend Kara's house. Here are Miles, Kara and I playing in her pool.

Auntie Kimmy got in to squirt us with water too. Fun!
Then they added the water slide, which may be the best invention EVER!
Here I am in action:

As Uncle Kevin says, all toys are better when you add the element of danger.

Pool Date with Miles

Miles came over today to play in my pool with me.

Mom kept trying to get us to both look at the camera at the same time, but there was a lot of splashing to be done, so this was the best she could get.
Miles liked using the whale as a punching bag. And Chewy liked licking me, maybe because he loves me, but mostly because he was thirsty. Observe:

We're buddies!
