Cousin Lovin'

Tommy has been having fun playing with all the toys that hang above his head from the "beanstalk" (which is what I call his green floor activity gym).
He's also been smiling a lot more lately. We all think he's cute.

My second cousin, Simon, and Mom's cousin Amy also came over to see his cuteness. Simon has some cuteness of his own...

Mom made me share my purple chair with him, which I was not pleased about...

But we had fun together plotting our escape through the gate. Yay for cousin time!

Family Resemblance?

Although Mom thinks Baby Tommy is starting to look a lot like Daddy, she also thinks he looks a lot like her dad, Grandpa Tommy, did at that age. What do you think?

Tommy is 2 Months Old!

My little brother Tommy is now officially 2 months old.

He's more fun to play with all the time. I like when he grabs my finger, and I like making baby noises at him. Here he is giving us one of his hard-to-capture-on-film smiles:

He loves his mobile (it's really MY mobile, but I let him use it), and loves wiggle time, just like I used to. Here he is in action:

He made another new friend yesterday, Auntie Sandra's son, Harper. Harper is just one month younger than him, but it's safe to say that Tommy is taking after me as far as height and weight.

Mom and Dad love him...
And I love him too!

Little Lady and Little Love

Mom and Dad went out to dinner without me the other night, and Mom left her shoes downstairs. Mom says I walk better in heels than she does. Dad says that's no big challenge.

Daddy took this picture of Tommy holding hands with his new teddy bear. I think he's in love.

Tickle Fight!

My cousin Kyle came over this weekend to help me conquer Daddy in a tickle war.

I think everyone won.

Making a Snow Angel

Daddy taught me how to make a snow angel. Now all I need is snow.

Adventures in Eating

Continuing with my recent adventures in eating, I've now decided I like sugar snap peas. But only if I bite the outside part off and pick out and eat the peas inside. That's good enough for Mom, she's just happy I'm eating something green!

Say "Peas!"
On another note, Mom was trying to get a cute picture of Tommy and Chewy snuggling. Tommy's not too sure he likes Mom's incessant picture taking. I told Mom I'd probably be crying too if she propped me up right next to Chewy's butt.
But don't worry, he was plenty happy later in his favorite snuggle position.

Happy VD!

Happy Valentine's Day! I practiced my pucker all morning...

Even on my baby brother...

Because Miles was coming over to be my Valentine! Here I am giving him the valentine I made for him...

And reading the one he gave me.

He and Auntie Kristine are so sweet!

Then it was on to some serious playtime outside. We swang...
And climbed...

And went down the slide about one hundred times. He's my perfect valentine! Silly Miles!

My New Musical Instrument

I learned to play the kazoo this week. My favorite way to play it is by laughing through it, because this makes Mom and Dad laugh too.

Talking With Tommy

Baby Tommy is now 7 weeks old. Mom says he gets cuter by the day. I think she might be right.

He doesn't do much, but here he is "talking" with Mom a little.

I still win the non-stop talking prize, though. This makes Mommy a little tired, but proud.

Sesame Street at Discovery Science Center

We had Mommy and Big Girl day yesterday at the Discovery Science Center, and a bunch of my friends met us there. They had a Sesame Street and the Body exhibit. Here Bella and I are shopping in Hooper's Store...

And here we're building yummy sandwiches to eat, and I'm sampling their pickles. Yum! Better than a real one!

Isabella, Bella, Ever and I on the Sesame Street stoop...

And Evan and I dancing with Grover.

My favorite place was Elmo's world. I got to say hi to Dorothy the fish and chill out on Elmo's bean bag chairs.
We all had a lot of fun at the pin wall exhibits. I dug right in, as you can see...
Then I had my first movie theater experience seeing the 15 minute 3-D movie "TurtleVision".

Then it was outside to my favorite part, the dinosaur exhibit! Here Evan and I are sliding down the dinosaur's tail. I love science!

More Puppy Playtime

Katherine Puppy strikes again! This morning I insisted on eating and drinking on the floor with Chewy, since I'm a puppy too.

I pretended to eat from the red bowl, Chewy ate from the gray one, and then we both drank from the water bowl. I would crawl under him to get from one bowl to the other.

Cheeks full of pretend dog food, yum yum! You can see Mom had to tie my hair back because I was getting a little too close to doing some real drinking from the water dish.

I even kick myself in the head just like Chewy does. Woof woof!
