My Brother, Lt. Frank Drebin

Mom says every time Tommy flips his bib up over his face and starts struggling she is reminded of this scene in Naked Gun, where Leslie Neilson is "attacked" by a pillow. 3 months old and already working on his comedy routine. I'd better step up my game!

Call Me Sheriff Woody

I've been making Mom and Dad call me Woody for a few weeks now. Mom finally bought into this completely, and got me this Woody shirt, which I insisted on wearing with blue pants to make it more authentic. Thanks Jessie (Mom) and Buzz (Dad)! I bet Rex (Tommy) and Buster (Chewy) are jealous.

Snowball Fight, Part 2

We got a package today, and though the contents were nice, we were very excited about the packing peanuts. California indoor snow angels and snowball fight!

Siblings

Katherine age 2 1/2, Tommy 3 months

Things That Make Mom Smile

Here are some things that make Mom smile: Snuggling her two kiddos...
Watching me ride my tricycle...
And walking into the room to find that Dad strategically placed this blanket with the bear's head sewn on it on Tommy.

More Spaghetti, Please!

Spaghetti is the newest of the new foods I am eating in hopes of impressing the Easter Bunny.

I'm told I'll get more candy if I try new things...
But this is so fun, I may not even need to be bribed!

Om.....om....om...

My new favorite thing is doing yoga with Mom.
I think she may be making up a few of the sillier poses...

And while I do like the relaxing movements...

I must admit that my favorite part is rolling up the mat.
Tommy's been doing his yoga too, and now he can lift his head up pretty far during tummy time. Go, little brother!

Tommy Cassanova

Mom thinks Tommy is growing up too fast...
But he looks so innocent...

Who you calling Cassanova?

Siblings in Action

Tommy and I have been very active lately. I've been perfecting my dance, musical and theatrical talents. Here I am dancing with Daddy...

Practicing my drumming...

And doing an interpretive dance to "The Noodle Doodle" poem.

Tommy has been busy being naked and smiling.

The Week in Review

It's been a fun week since our last post! In addition to our normal family silliness...
Mom hooked up with Wii drumset for me to freestyle on. I studied at the school of Animal from the Muppets, she tells me:
Nana also came to visit us, and Tommy gave her lots of smiles:
Then today we went to visit Kara and Avery, and Robby and Lizzy. Here we are playing...
And here are the dogs pouting outside.

Tommy bonded with Avery...
And Lizzy...
While Tommy was flirting, Kara and I were busy rolling and playing like the little monkeys we are.

My Brother the Ape

This is the outfit I decided Tommy should wear when dropping me off at preschool.
Silly monkey..........................Sleepy Monkey.

My New Rock Band

We went to visit Miles on Monday. He had a fun drum set that we took turns playing on...

Needless to say, I was a little tired by the time we got home.

That night I read Tommy a story. I really am the best big sister ever! Modest, too. :) See how much he likes it when I read to him?

Then Mom read us both a book before bed. Notice that this book is not small. Mom ordered it online and didn't read the fine (or not-so-fine) print that it was a big oversized book. She now refers to it as "The Bane of Her Existence", but I really think it's called "The Everything Book". Silly Mom!

Daily Accomplishments

Today the whole family made it to storytime at the library...
And Tommy found out that those things at the ends of his arms are his own hands.
Big Day!

Back to Storytime

Mom finally got brave enough to take both Tommy and I to storytime at the library, and now I love it more than ever! I like to sit up front with the big kids...

And dance and participate in all the songs. Here I am in action:
Tommy has been busy, too. He smiles all the time now, and even giggles/chuckles sometimes.

He is also working on rolling over, but I'm not sure he's making that much progress. You be the judge:

Budding Photographer

Dad let me play with the camera this morning. He is my first shot of Tommy...
I took many, many more. I call this one "Tommy, with Cereal Bowl and Pacifier"
Dad finally realized how many pictures I'd taken, and got in on the action. This is the last shot I got. Silly Dad!

Playdate with CJ

We went to visit my friend, CJ, yesterday. We had lots of fun together. We watched Sesame Street, played with his trains, and had a milk chugging contest. It was too close to call the winner.

Tommy made a new friend, too, CJ's little sister Kate.

She was anxious to meet him, shake his hand, and maybe suck on it a little too. A great friendship is born!
