Zoomars

To top off a very busy weekend, we met Auntie Kimmy, Robby, and Lizzy at a petting zoo called Zoomars.  It was Tommy's first petting zoo experience.  He may have been a little over-enthusiastic in his manner of petting...

But I was a seasoned pro.  I even gave some love to this silly hairless guinea pig!

We also got to ride the little train...

As you can see, I was a little bit excited about it.

Tommy got to ride too, though I'm not sure he could see much beyond his silly hat.

Tommy's favorite thing was the sandbox filled with corn.

Mommy and Auntie Kimmy liked it too, because it kept Tommy, Robby and Lizzy happy and contained.

Soon everyone was in on the corny fun.

While Tommy, Robby, and Lizzy pretended to ride in a buggy...

I was off discovering dinosaur fossils.  I let Tommy help.

But the best part was when I got to take my first pony ride.

My pony's name was "Trigger", and he was very sweet.  I had so much fun, and rode like a pro!  One step closer to being a real cowgirl.  Yee-haw!

Disneyland!!!

Mom and Auntie Kristine surprised Miles and I with a Disneyland trip just for big kids last weekend!

Yay, Mommies!!!  The teacups were one of our first orders of business...
Here we are in action:

Next was the Merry-Go-Round...

Here we are waiting patiently in line and showing off what good Mouseketeers we are.

3 Goofies!

The line for the Go Gadget Roller Coaster was a little long, so Miles decided to take a nap and recharge.  I kept him company.

Mom got a preview of me in 13 years, when she has to teach me to drive, while she sat shotgun on Autopia.  She looked scared.  I giggled the whole time.

After cruising behind the wheel it was time for ice cream...

And some serious mess making.  Many passersby were impressed with our mess-making skills.  We're good at what we do!

We had a safari on the Jungle Cruise...

And many giggles at the fountain outside the Tiki Room.

But Dumbo is still my absolute favorite.  Here I am in pure mid-flight delight...

After a visit to Mickey's house (and lots of hugs)...

And some heavy lifting in Toon Town...

I was officially spent.  This is what a kid who had tons of fun at Disneyland looks like:

Visit from the Haskins

Mom's friend Christa and her kids, Brode and Jasper, came to stay with us this week.  Since they're from Minnesota, we took them to the beach.  It was a little chilly at first, so we built some sand castles...

Then Tommy decided it was time to chase seagulls...

And Jasper and I followed his lead.

I made sure Tommy didn't fall in when he was shoulder-deep in a hole we dug...

And then, like the paleontologist I hope to become, I found a dinosaur tooth!  Mom says it's part of a shell, but I know she's wrong/unimaginative.

I love the beach!

And we all love seeing Mommy's friend Christa.

Back at the house Jasper and I played princesses...

And chased bubbles.   What a fun visit!

Future Pianists

I'm learning how to play "Old McDonald" on the piano...

Tommy's trying his best, but it sounds a little different.  At least he's creative!

A Visit from Isabella

Isabella came over to play with me yesterday.  We had fun playing Star Wars...

Tommy had fun playing with the big girls, until the Rancor monster bit his hand.

Don't worry, Tommy got his revenge.

We also did some painting...

And had a nice, giggly lunch together!

New Play-Doh

I got a new Play-Doh popsicle-making set, but Mom and I got a little side-tracked while playing with it.
