Flying Baa

I love to have Daddy throw Baa, my lamby, for me. I don't let Mom do it, only Dad. Here's a little glimpse of our morning fetch routine:

I'm mesmerized by commercials, so Mom had to turn of the TV to get me to focus again. Here I am after I regrouped:

New Acrobatic Moves

My new talents are looking at you upside down through my legs, and running around the house with my shirt in my teeth squealing. My parents are very proud.

Tea Party

On Sunday I went to a little girls' tea party put on by our old neighbor, Jen. Mom told me I was supposed to have good manners there. I interpreted this as taking as big of bites as possible...
Not sitting with my legs crossed...
And putting things in my mouth that I wasn't supposed to.
I did find a partner in crime, Brooklyn, who followed my lead to help me throw all these wrapped gumballs on the ground.
I had fun, but truth be told, digging out back in the sand box is really much more my scene. I am my mother's daughter.

Computer Literate

Lately I really like playing on the computer. I'm learning to type...

And have fun looking at animals that Mommy and Daddy pull up for me on the Internet. It's a long one, so Mom had to break it into four parts.

Playing at the Dog Park

I love playing with Chewy at the dog park.

I also love picking flowers...

And then pulling the petals off them and telling Mom, "Flowers naked!"

Helpful Baby

I helped Mom with a little cleaning today. I'm so helpful!

I tried cleaning Chewy too (he gets kind of stinky), but he didn't appreciate it.

Fun with CJ

CJ and his mom, Stacy, came over last weekend. We had fun reading books together...

But I man-handled him a little when he got too close to my favorite toys.

But really I like playing with him, we're buds!

Apple

I insisted on trying some of Mom's whole apple. She usually cuts it up for me, but I'm a big girl with big teeth now so...

Hmmmm....maybe not. Apple skin is gross.

Visiting Baby Mia

Mom and I went to Sacramento to visit Mom's friend, Casey, and her baby, Mia. At first I wasn't so sure what to think of Mia. I had to inspect her from all angles...

Then pretended to take a nap with her...

Poked her a little...

And then took over her chair to see how she would handle it.

She was a good sport, so I had Lamby give her a kiss...

And then I was sold. We're friends in (sort of) matching outfits!

PS: Mom loves her too. :)

Naked Time Has Been Extended

I had a little bit of a heat rash last week, so the doctor told Mom to extend my naked time. Here are a few of my new favorite naked activities...
Naked piano and naked dress-up with Mom's jewelry!

I'm working on Mom for a full day of nakedness, but since this session ended with me peeing in Chewy's bed, she's not too keen on it. And neither is Chewy.

Drinking From The Big Girl Cup

Here's what I think of Daddy's "Superfood" juice:

Mom may have prompted me a little...

Fingerpuppets

My 3rd cousin (Grandma's 1st cousin, so is that right?), Alexandra, sent me these cool fingerpuppets today.

I instantly grabbed them and ran away with them...

I wanted to play with them up on the bed with Chewy.

Fun! Thanks, Cousin Alexandra!

I'm Awake!

Here's the new game I play with Mom and Dad. I pretend I'm sleeping, snore, then get up and say "I'm awake!" Gets them every time. They're so gullible.

Adventures in Sentence Structure

Chewy hates the UPS truck, and I'm here to tell you about it.

Later Mom realized that I was right when I said blue truck, because the garbage man came (in a blue truck), and Chewy is always mad about that. When will Mom realize that I'm ALWAYS right?!?

Water Safety

Since I liked wearing Mom's shoes so much the other day, I thought I'd try on Dad's Homer Simpson slippers...

As you can see, this led to me wearing my new favorite construction hat, and demanding to take it in the bath with me.

Safety First!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter, everyone!

This whole bunny-hiding-baskets thing is sort of new to me, but I'm starting to get the idea. Here I am hunting for my easter basket:

Here's what I found inside...

And here's what I did with it:

This went on for awhile...

I like this whole hiding idea, so next Daddy and I hid while Mom was "it" for hide and seek.

Then Nana came up to see us and we went to the park. Yay! You can see I brought the little yellow monkey from my easter basket with me, too.

Nana made strawberry shortcake for dessert. Whipped cream was a new thing for me...

And it's safe to say that I liked it. Not only did my strawberries taste good dipped in it, but so did my gardenburger. Thanks, Nana!

Easter Hunt!

Today we went to the Huntington Beach annual Easter candy hunt. Another girl and I decided a team approach was our best bet...

I also had more fun taking candy OUT of my basket than putting it IN.
If you click on this picture, you can see the close up of how excited I am.
Yay, candy!
Then I grabbed my basket and Dad took me to meet some new friends...

Like the Easter Bunny,

And a big duck...

and Reada, the dragon from our favorite library.

But my favorite was Sparky, who I called "Fire Puppy". I even let him wear my cool new construction hat.

I refused to take the hat off for the rest of the time...

And though it is supposed to be used for protection, it did not protect me from my first bite of a donut hole. Yucky!
