My Breathing Treatments

I've been really good about taking my breathing treatments, though I don't like to wear the strap around my head. It helps that Mom lets me sit on her lap and play Toy Story games on her iTouch...

It also helps that Mom said Lamby has to have them, too. We're in this together!

Sickies!

It's been a rough couple of days. Tommy needed to up the steroids in his breathing treatments, because he's just not getting any better. Don't worry, it's not bringing him down too much...
Not to be outdone, I have also been diagnosed with RSV and have started breathing treatments. I'm also on antibiotics for a pretty potent ear infection, and then Mom found this itchy rash on my back:

Diagnosis: Shingles! I haven't had chickenpox before, but I had the varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, and since it's a live virus, in some lucky people it can cause shingles at a random time, though they're not sure what brings it on. Lucky me! Even worse, I can transmit chickenpox to anyone who hasn't had it before, so no Memorial Day BBQs with friends for me.
But don't worry, I've found other ways to amuse myself (and the rest of my family):
Here are a few more pictures of me in my fort. Mom and Dad will never get to sit on their couch again.

A Day in the Life of Tommy

First he wakes up smiley and happy...
He has some wiggle time with Mom...
A snack or two...
And some Exersaucer time.
It's a tough life!

We Love Our Pooper Dog

Today was Chewy's 6th birthday. In honor of the day, we let him do lots of his favorite things, like baby licking...
And begging for treats from Steve, our very nice mail carrier...
We even threw him a birthday party! However, trying to get everyone on-task for a photo wasn't working so well...
And Tommy's expression with the hat on makes him look more like a garden gnome or as if he's wearing a dunce cap...
Nevertheless, everyone got something fun for Chewy's birthday. Chewy got a present, a rawhide that I helped him unwrap...
I got to eat cupcakes...
And Tommy got his first taste of sweet potatoes.
Tommy may have gotten the raw end of this deal.

My Friend Mia

Mia came from Sacramento to visit me last weekend. We had LOTS of fun together, but the most fun was taking a bubble bath in Mom and Dad's big tub.

I even showed her how to wash my back!
She also liked kissing and hugging Tommy. So sweet! Can't wait until she comes back to visit next weekend!

Giggly Times

Even though we've both been pretty sick this past week, we've still had plenty of giggly time.

Kingman for Two!

I got a cool new basketball hoop for the backyard! Here I am in my ready-to-shoot stance:
I picked out my own basketball outfit, complete with sweater (not sweatshirt) and my "tap-dancing shoes". Here I am in action:

I'll update again when I have my 3-pointer down.

New Bedtime Routine

I'm going to bed a little later these days (7:30), so Daddy's home in time to put me in bed. However, lately I request this quick bedtime routine:

Tommy's Toys

Tommy has been having big fun in his new exersaucer!
He's still a bit of a flailer, but he's getting the hang of it.

Not to be left out, Chewy now likes to play under Tommy's activity gym. Here he is showcasing his infinite puppy patience with me...

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day, Mom! We made sure to give Mom lots of cuddles today.
Dad may have gotten a few, too.
And Nana too!
Nana and I even had a fancy cheers to help celebrate Mother's Day. Don't worry, mine's only sparkling apple juice. This isn't Applebee's, after all.
We also celebrated Uncle Stuart's Birthday...
Which meant cake!!!!
After cake, Kyle and I had plenty of energy to burn. We expended it rolling around on the floor...
And playing in my fort. Fun!

Tommy Takes Control

Tommy decided he is tired of rolling around on the floor, so he coerced Dad through some serious finger biting...
To bring out his exersaucer.
He is now a much more giggly and happy boy.

Actually, he's always been this happy. Good boy, Tommy!
