Miles, Grandma, and Me

Miles came up to play this week. First we played with my ABCs...
Then I backed him up on the drum while he played the piano...

Then we played a little airplane, but I think the grown-ups had a little more fun than we did.

Then we went outside, where I showed him how to smell flowers...

And how to swing (see me lurking in the background?).

Then we played a little hide and seek.

I'm so glad Miles and I are buddies!

DNA

I've been wanting to play with Mom's DNA model that she uses for tutoring lately. I can point to all the different colors on it, and call it "D D D". I'm destined for nerdy greatness!

Lamby Jammies

Part of my new bedtime routine is making Mom zip Lamby up in my PJs, and running around the house with him in there, hands free. Mom says it's like when she used to put me in the Baby Bjorn, which I loved, so I'm pretty sure Lamby loves it too. He doesn't giggle as much as me, though.

Hard at Work

I went up to visit Daddy at work last week and help him out.

I've decided that any project that involves post-it notes is for me.

Breakfast with Dad

Dad spoiled me and let me watch Winnie the Pooh during breakfast. He taught me to say 'Tigger'. He also asked me if I wanted a short stack of pancakes for breakfast and I took him literally.

Learning the Alphabet

I've learned how to make the pig noise, and a few letter sounds from the blocks and puzzle I have, and from Mom and Dad's constant harrassment.

Bunny Slippers, Fountains, and Craziness

What do you mean, I can't wear this to the mall?
All right, I'll change, but only if we spend the majority of the time by the fountains.

I LOVED watching the big fountain with Dad, and giggled the whole time.

The giggling and squealing continued in the car.

Flirting With Miles

Miles came up to visit, and I took him to the park by our house. I picked this flower, and then ran to give it to him...

And yanked it away at the last minute.
I'm not ready to commit yet...

But we're still good friends

Musical Babies

Mom's piano has been a big hit with and my baby friends and me. Here we are (me, Evan, and Isabella) playing what Mom called "A Cacophony". That's like a symphony, right?

And here I am playing a lovely duet with Miles. I rock!

16 Month Picture

Mom says this is the first professional picture we've had taken that is worthy of my cuteness.

Phoenix Zoo: Part 2

They had a petting zoo at the Phoenix zoo, too. Here I am getting really excited about petting the goats...
And here I am not-so-gently squeezing one's mouth shut.

Don't worry, we were still friends afterwards.

I LOVED the turtles, and had fun gently banging on their shells.

They apparently have fun doing that to each other, too. Mom called it "procreating". I just liked the noises they made.

See what I learned?!?

At the Phoenix Zoo

I went to the Phoenix zoo with Grandma and Grandpa last weekend. Here's Dad showing me how the giraffes eat.

He's right! Quite an impressive imitation, too.

Here I am strolling with Dad...

And riding the train in style.

Here we are on the merry-go-round. I wanted to ride the chicken, and made "buh buh" (bawk bawk) noises most of the time.

You'd be able to see this better if Mom would ever get the hang of taking videos the right way.

Christmas in a Bucket

I got to have another Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Arizona!

Daddy helped me upwrap one of my books from them...

And then Grandma and Grandpa read it to me!

However, my favorite part of Christmas was playing in this storage bin.

I insisted on being in it to unwrap presents...

And to pose for family pictures.

Dad carried me in it when I needed to move...

And pushed me in it for a few laughs.
Grandma even literally got in on it with me the next morning!
