Gingerbread House

I had so much fun decorating a gingerbread house over at my friend Evan's house, that Mommy and I decided to try to make one on our own.
Bad idea. First we started eating all the appetizing decorations...
And then began mainlining frosting.
Oops.

Responsibilities

I have so many responsibilities now that I am a 3 year old and a big sister. Dad helped me plant a little garden, and I have to water it every day. I'm really good about this (not like Mom), and actually now have little seedlings growing!

I also have to teach my brother how to pose for pictures....

And I have to make sure everyone knows how to have fun at the playground. Good work, Tommy!
Tommy and Kyle have both mastered giggling on the swings...
And I've done a good job teaching Kyle to make smiley faces...
And, of course, silly faces.

Isn't That What Older Brothers Are For? Teaching You to Be Destructive?

Chewy ripped his pillow apart, and then showed Tommy how to rip the stuffing out. Can't blame this one on me!

Discovery Science Center

My buddy Isabella and I went to the Discovery Science Center last week for big fun! The first exhibit we saw was "The Science of Gingerbread". I was very excited (and hungry)!
Since they also had a Star Wars exhibit going on, there were a plethora (my new word) of Star Wars gingerbread creations. Here's R2D2...
And an AT-AT walker.
Next it was on to the Star Wars exhibit. I don't think our Chewy looks all that much like this one...
And there are Tommy and Mommy's Halloween costumes!
I got to play with magnets to learn how Luke's Tattooine landspeeder hovered above the ground...
However, Isabella and I were not as impressed with all this as our moms were. This was our Moms' cue that it was time to move on.
The pin wall was fun...

And I had a good time building a huge Lego space shuttle...
And going for a virtual shopping trip.

We talked Mom into coming in the hurricane simulator with us...
And then she talked us into going alone.

My favorite exhibit is always the dinosaurs. Here we are putting together a Stegasaurus fossil.
I also wrangled this Ankylosaurus.
So much fun! Thanks for being my partner in crime, Izzy!

Holiday Parties

We're party people! Mom and Dad went to Dad's work holiday party...
And I went to a cookie exchange party at my friend Evan's house.
After eating my body weight in cookies, we made gingerbread houses...
And all played in Evan's room.

Tommy didn't have any cookies, but he did get to chase their cat everywhere, which he was thrilled about.

Hangin' With the Marshes

We went to Avery's baptism last weekend. It was my first real church experience, and from what I can tell, it's fun! Lizzy, Robby and I had a blast army-crawling across the pews:
Then we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Marsh's for some big wheel riding...
cake eating...
Piano playing...
Tractor pulling...
And hanging out with our friends.
Tommy and I did our part in blessing Avery:

And had a great time. On the way out I told Mom, "That's one happy family". That may have melted Grandpa and Grandma Marshes' hearts just a little.

Special Santa Hat

Daddy brought home this special Santa hat from his work's holiday party. It may look normal here...
But here's what it is really like:
